Find your flow as you knit the Big Braid Shawl — a bulky weight, top-down design in which you begin with an “extended” garter tab cast on method, followed by a traditional triangle formed with yarn over (YO) increases. Once you find your “flow”, you’ll be able to knit this large, squishy shawl with ease and without much reference to pattern (if desired). This pattern assumes the user is familiar with (or ready to explore) top-down shawl methods and the garter-tab cast-on method. This pattern also assumes that the user is familiar with standard knitting techniques.

An extra long circular needle cord is recommended for this pattern.

Enjoy!
