The Big Knit Hat, is a very easy knit on big needles. It can be knit with just one colour or as shown here with a contrasting colour at the brim.

The pattern also includes the option for an added flower or bow, which can either be attached with a pin or sewn on.

These fun accessories would also look cute on a simple hair band. Or you could attach them to a pin and use them as a broach.

The Big Knit Hat is knitted with Super Chunky yarn, about 1 skein would be enough for the hat, with a little of a contrasting colour to add the accessories, so it is a great project to use up some of that left over yarn from a bigger project.

The pattern includes just one size as it is knit in a stretchy stitch, so should be suitable for all head sizes.
