The Big Orange Cardi was originally published on the cover of Crochet Now magazine in 2019 as “The Canteloupe Cardigan”, and designed to be an epically chunky must-have winter warmer. The oversized balloon sleeves are modern and fun, and the relaxed fit is perfect for chilly nights in front of the TV.

This cardigan is worked seamlessly from cuff to body and seamed along the centre back, with hems and neckline trims worked at the end to finish it off.

The Big Orange Cardi is an extreme oversize fit. You may wish to knit a smaller size for a closer fit.

The adult model is a UK size 10-12 and is wearing the Big Orange Cardi in size large.
