Big Ruffle Scarf
The Big Ruffle Scarf is worked in garter stitch with a knitted on ruffle edging. The scarf is a long thin triangle; wide in the middle to keep your neck warm and with thin ends.
It is worked on a 12mm circular needle to accomodate the large number of stitches and the thick yarn.
Yarn amounts: 300g (approx 261yd/240m) of Rowan Big Wool or similar super chunky weight yarn that on the ball band has a tension of 7 to 8 sts and 10 to 12 rows to 10cm (4in) measured over stocking stitch using 12mm needles.
Finished Size: 168cm (67in) long and 18cm (7in) at widest point.
Stitches Used: cast on, knit, purl, sl 1-k1-psso (diagram included), sl 2-k1-psso, yo (increase).
