Big Turtle” is my new star…
I wanted to knit something timeless and beautiful. When I took photos with sun behind the shawl It gave amazing pictures.

Choose yarn and big needles as you want. Knit thread in double is better than knit a big yarn. Grey shawl is big enough to be used like a blanket. It’s very strong with very old yarn and recycled sweater. It can stay on sofa or in the car whatever the weather.

Knit this shawl/blanket is a good way to use yarn in stash and make place clear…to buy a new yarn!…

Like a game (of wool!) of checkers you will play with pattern. See pictures to change places of chart 1 and chart 2.

The 2 charts in stockinette stitches (st st) and open-work designs offer many possibilities to create differents shawls.

In extra pattern there is a technical file of “How to start a shawl in triangle” … which can encourage beginners to try to knit a large shawl in st st with just one or two sequences to make a lace border …

My friends are crazy about this shawl. I hope it will be the same for you!…what else…

The next shawl will be black color. I bought 16 balls of Alpaca Silk brushed uni color Drops to knit it 2 strands together.

I work a lot. I’ll write the pattern in French soon…I dream to be a hare, lol!
