Work on size 13’s for instant gratification and big, cozy stitches in a roving yarn and knit-purl twill pattern. The collar can be worn in three ways: with all five buttons buttoned and collar upright; with all five buttons buttoned with the collar folded down; with only two buttons from the shoulder buttoned (top three buttons unbuttoned) with the open corner of the collar folded down.

Yarn Plymouth Yarn Galway Roving (100% highland wool; 54 yd 49 m/3½ oz 100 g): #754 turtle heather, 8 (10, 11, 12, 14) skeins.

Needles Bands—size 11 (8 mm): 16″ and 32–40″ circular (cir), depending on size you are making. Body—size 13 (9 mm): 32–40″ cir. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
