The Billy mittens are two layered, knitted in the round and the two layers are knitted in one piece. After finishing the mitten, one layer is folded inwards which results in the double layered mitten which keep the tiny baby hands warm for chilly days.
The Billy shawl is added to this pattern and is a simple brioche shawl, worked flat (so knitted back and forth) where halfway the color way is changed.
