Children will enjoy helping each Billy Goat take a turn walking cross the bridge and dealing with the nasty troll!

This fun play set includes instructions for all three goat sizes, as well the troll and a bridge. It is written in English and uses American crochet terminology. It includes lots of photos along with step-by-step instructions.

Materials
Worsted Weight Yarn
A few different sized crochet hooks
Safety Eyes: 5mm for small goat; 6mm for the medium goat, large goat, and troll
Embroidery Floss
Fiberfill
Plastic Canvas: 2 sheets (10 ½” x 14” size)
Pipe Cleaner plus wire cutters or heavy duty scissors to cut it.
Tools: Permanent marker, yarn needle, embroidery needle, safety pin, straight pins, scissors, skewers for stuffing, pliers to grab the sewing needle if necessary
Optional items to embellish bridge: buttons, embroidery floss or thin yarn

Size
Gauge is not important to this pattern. The size of your finished products will vary depending on the size yarn and hooks you use. Made with the materials listed, the goats range in size from 3” to 4” tall. The troll is 4” tall when standing (3” when sitting), and the bridge is 5 ½” tall and 12” long.
• Using a thinner yarn and smaller hooks will yield smaller items. Using thicker yarn and larger hooks will result in larger items. An individual crocheter’s yarn tension can also be a factor in sizing as well.

Pattern Notes
The pattern is written for intermediate crocheters and beyond (mainly because of the type of terminology used). The intermediate is familiar with making amigurumi and understands basic amigurumi crochet terminology and stitches as well as how to sew pieces together, finish off, hide ends, etc. It is also helpful if you have experience working with plastic canvas. f you are not familiar with all the terms used in this pattern, there are a multitude of tutorials on You Tube that can help. Also feel free to contact me with any questions. I’ll be glad to help in any way I can.
