This pattern is a fairly complex amigurumi with many pieces. It requires worsted weight yarn that is fairly stiff and does not stretch (I used and recommend 100% Cotton) in Tan (a light copper type color could work too), Light Grey, Medium Grey, Dark Grey, Dark Brown and Red. It also calls for 8 small yellow buttons (the sort of pearly ones are ideal) for the portholes. A must-complete for any Bioshock fan, or anyone who knows a Bioshock fan. The stitches should be worked tightly and firmly, allowing for a final piece that can stand unassisted. There is a video on the site to cover the surface crochet technique for adding some of the details around the arms and legs (cuffs of the dive suit etc).
