If you love the intricate patterns of trees, Birch will make a very cosy addition to your sofa, armchair- or your tree house! Knit in tactile, warm Icelandic wool and inspired by the nature of Scandinavia, you knit seamlessly in the round, beginning with a firm seed stitch opening and ending with a three needle bind off. An intricate stranded pattern with a main and a contrasting colour creates the body of the cushion cover. Knit it in natural shades of black and white if you like a birchy look, or any 2 contrasting colours if you don’t! :)

3 x 50g skeins for main colour
2 x 50g skeins for contrasting colour

1 extra knitting needle (suggested size 5mm) for 3 needle BO
2 stitch markers
Sewing thread, sewing needle, pins, and a 40cm/16” zip
