Comfy without a lot of bulk, here’s a pullover that’s perfect for layering to keep you toasty this winter.
The body is worked in the round from the bottom up, beginning with k1, p1 rib , then going into the cable and rib pattern. Divide the body at the bottom of the armholes, then work the front and back separately. The shoulders are joined using a 2-needle technique that has live stitches on each needle that reduces the bulk of a seam in this weight yarn, and adds some stability to the seam.
The sleeves are worked in the round from the cuff to the underarm length, then the cap is worked back and forth. Begin with some k1, p1 rib, then work the rest of the sleeve in Half Fisherman’s Rib.
The neckband is worked in k1, p1 ribbing.
Gauge over the Half Fisherman’s Rib is 18 sts and 34 rnds/rows per 4” / 10 cm.
