The designer considers these mittens a variation on Eunny Jang’s ubiquitous Endpaper Mitts, but it is so much more original than that! Hence, I have decided to give the humble designer of the Bird and Vine Mitts her own pattern site on Ravelry, so that we can link directly to it. I include a tag to her Ravelry project page, where you can find the charts needed to work this lovely design.

“To all those who would like knit my version using my charts I made for them- that is why I uploaded full pictures of the charts! In no way do I take credit for the pattern of the mitts- all I did was make up a chart of the endpaper mitts pattern, which is available for free on the internet. You will need to flop one of the charts so that you get a right and left hand and not two of the same.

The vine pattern was made from scratch by me using excel and is original.”
