A traveler’s dream project, the Bird of Passage Shawl was born out of a collaboration between Forbidden Woolery and myself for Forbidden Woolery’s Wanderlust yarn club. This shawl has traveled with me over 4 continents and was designed specifically to be the perfect project to travel with. A single skein, half pi shawl that allows you to drift while working the rhythmic back and forth of stockinette for the main body of the garment. A carefully crafted series of increases and decreases for the lacy edging creates a wavy border that’ll satisfy your lust to wander…

Yarn: Approx 400 yds of fingering weight yarn. Sample shown in Forbidden Woolery, Justice, Colorway - Dazzle, 80% SW Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon.
