Bold colors shine on these exciting hand-warmers and add a little elegant flair to any ensemble. The pattern is perfectly suited to using up small amounts of left-over yarn from other projects. I recommend using the same weight of yarn throughout, but feel free to experiment with combining colors or even different brands that you wouldn’t normally put together. I used 5 colors for my sample, but you could easily work these in just 3 colors, or as many as 8 colors per mitt! Give yourself permission to go nuts with scraps and make a truly unique pair of gloves. Once you see how warm, cozy, and stylishly these mitts use up those tiny balls we are all left with after finishing other projects, they’ll be a go-to for you any time scraps pile up.

Designed to be a stash buster, this pattern is a great way to use up small amounts of left-over yarn from other projects. You can use either a sport/DK weight yarn, or fingering weight held double. Sample was knit in Lattes & Llamas Geek-A-Long Yarn using the following colors: A-Bottle City; B-Daily Planet; C-Tesseract; D-Skull Cave; E-Port World.

A- 5 grams / 18 yards
B- 10 grams / 35 yards
C- 18 grams / 60 yards
D- 10 grams / 35 yards
E- 35 grams / 125 yards

Note that these yardage requirements are based on using a sport weight yarn, and working cuff option 1. For cuff option 2 you’ll only need 10g of color E.
