Overview:
Birdy Sweater is worked top-down. First the back is worked flat, with short rows to shape the neck and increases to shape the shoulders. Stitches are picked-up for the front and the neckline is shaped before the front and back are joined at the underarms to be worked in the round. The sleeves and neckband are worked from stitches that are picked-up, with short row shaping to the sleeve head for a good fit. Finally, the neckband is folded and knit or sewn down to the inside.

The suggested fit is your own measurement +25 cm (9¾ inches) movement allowance. A diagram with finished measurements is included in the pattern. The sleeve and body length can be adjusted if preferred.
