Worked in a wonderful cotton bamboo blend, Birka is a soft and warming hat. You can easily work it with a more slouchy style, or more tight fitting.

Birka is worked from the horizontal band, with the lovely wave cables, and up towards the crown. The headband can either be worked with a provisional cast on and later grafted together, or be seamed.
