From Favourite Dolls & Toys
This 38cm (15in) teddy was specially designed to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Woman’s Weekly. The clothes are removable — a sweater for a boy bear or pinafore dress for a girl bear, and both garments were knitted up in Women’s Weekly pink and blue with the WW initials. You can of course knit them in colours of your choice, adding the appropriate initials to suit the chosen name of your own bear!

Materials
For the teddy you will need:
Two 50g balls of pale yellow double knitting yarn; length of black double knitting yarn for embroidering mouth stitches; 340 g (12 oz) of stuffing; a pair of 3mm (No 11, USA 2½) knitting needles; scraps of black and light brown felt for facial features; adhesive.

To make both garments you will need:
One 50g ball of cerise and one 50g ball of blue double knitting yarn; oddments of pale pink and royal blue double knitting yarn; a pair of 3.75mm (No 9, USA 5) and a pair of 3.25mm (No 10, USA 3) knitting needles; seven small buttons; four small snap fasteners.

Note: Woman’s Weekly “Favourite Family Knitting” issue also contains instructions for additional outfits: Striped jacket or plain sweater, trousers or skirt, and scarf & hat.
