These fingerless mittens were inspired by the quite cold weather in Besançon where they had to be conceived, since I did not pack enough warm stuff!

They are made extra long to keep the wrist warm (a pet peeve of me when I wear gloves or mittens) and of course they had to have stripes to stay fun!

To get rid of the colour-change-jog in stripes I chose to just make a fun design detail out of it since it is a real pain to try to conceal the dreaded jog successfully.

Sizes:
Medium/Large
(approximately female glove sizes 7/8)

Yarn:
2 x 50gr skeins of sock yarn in two different colours
(I used Lana Grossa Meilenweit 2x50gr at 210 meters/ 230 yards in grey and blue)
