Size F-5 (3.75 mm) crochet hook
1 shank button, 1” in diameter

Gauge:
1 patt rep = 1 1/4”
“For this piece, yarns may have slightly different weights and therefore gauge will vary somewhat from row to row. Feel free to change gauge and adjust number of shells to encircle wrist.”

Stitching Tip:
“If you plan to use yarns of different weights in this project, swatch first with the chunkiest to see what size hook works best. When you add the thinner yarns, match the gauge of your original swatch – this means you have to work a bit more loosely with the thinner yarn. If not, the rows with thinner yarns will pull in the fabric, a result to be avoided. The ability to work at different tensions is a fine one for the crocheter to master, as it gives you excellent control of your work and the finished product.”
