Worked top down like a toe up sock!

The Björtlett Mittens are warm and cozy and are worked from the fingertips down to the cuff, like a toe up sock: no sewing or seaming required!

This way you can try them on as you go, you can make sure the thumb is in the right spot (move it up a few rounds if you have shorter fingers or palm) and you can make the cuff as long as you want!

Make these happy little mittens with leftover yarn from your Lettlopi Björt coat!

Note:To adjust fit for larger or longer than average hands, simply work a few plain rounds before starting colorwork; and work more plain rounds before beginning cuff, and more rounds for the thumb. The thumb is purposefully made wide, so there most likely should be no need to adjust the stitches for the thumb.
