Bj’s Bear is a sweet teddy bear who measures approximately 12 inches tall. He is sure to bring a smile to whoever sees him. He is a wonderful cuddly size and will make a perfect gift for any child or grown up “kid at heart.” He is knit in the round and almost completely seamless. If you aren’t crazy about seaming and have wanted to try a seamless pattern this is a great beginner project.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Stitches used are knit, purl, Cast on, Cast off, and inc & M1
K=Knit
P=Purl
K2tog= knit 2 stitches together
P2tog= purl 2 stitches together
Inc= increase=knit into front and back of same stitch
M1= make 1 stitch= are made by picking up yarn placing on left needle and knitting off, also called an invisible increase
W&T= wrap and turn
Kitchener stitch

Materials needed: Heavy Worsted weight yarn, approx. 4.5 oz. main color for body. Approx. 1.5 oz. of second color for feet. Small amount of dark color to embroider facial features.
