This is a detailed written knitting pattern for cat themed fingerless mitts suitable for children, teens and adults, the pattern includes row by row instructions, a chart and photos to help you along the way!

These ‘black cat’ fingerless mitts are worked in stocking/stockinette stitch with garter stitch cuffs. The cat motif is added to the stocking stitch section, on the back of the hand, using duplicate stitch once the knitting is complete; however the cat could be added whilst knitting by using the intarsia method. The mitts are knit flat on two needles with a side seam.

The photos show the mitts made up in the medium size, the last photo shows one medium sized mitt and one small size with the cuff turned back.

These mitts would make a great Halloween accessory.
