In the loving memory of my grandmother.

This is a big shawl, worked from the top down using seed stitch and blackberry stitch to create alot of texture.
It’s big, warm and cosy and is ment to feel like a warm hug - a hug I gave to my grandmother for her to think of me when I can’t be there to hug her for real.

You’ll be using two different color yarn, one for the body and the edging and another for the border.
Of the main color you will need app. 400 yards and of the border color 305 yards.

The measurement of the shawl shown in pictures is 150 cm wide and 45 cm deep, it has a very nice stretchy and bouncy feeling!

I hope you will enoy knitting it!

Great many thanks to my fantastic testknitters!
