This pattern has 3 versions of the Blanda cowl, a small one made with 5 x 15 gm minis, a larger one made with a variety of minis and one skein of fingering weight yarn, and one made with a Riverside Studio Quintet set (5 x 30 gm minis). The choice is yours! It is easy to mix in any colours you want and with however much you have, be it 5 gm, 12 gm etc. The pattern is a broken garter stitch pattern which is completely reversible.

Gauge is not crucial, I used a 3.5 mm needle to get 21 st. x 36 rows. It is also easy to change the width (and length) of your project by adding or subtracting pattern repeats. A kitchen scale is useful to weigh your skeins to know when to change colour.

I used the Russian Join for the small cowl, I grafted one infinity scarf, and used the 3 needle bind-off for another. All these techniques can be found by searching on youTube.
