The pattern is designed as a “blank slate” for the knitter to feel free to add stripe(s), school emblems, etc. This is truly an easy pattern. For the basic pattern, the only required skills are Stockinette Stitch, SSK and K2tog. However, you can then add intarsia, a different stitch pattern, multiple colors, etc. and try new techniques on a small canvas.
