This little motif is just another way to use up bits and bobs and scrappity pieces of yarn that are taking up valuable real estate in your yarn baskets. I love a good granny square, but my kids aren’t too fond of the holes, so here’s a solid alternative.

Gauge is based off of one completed motif using #4 yarn with a 5.00mm/H hook: 5” X 3.5”. However, this gauge is not essential as long as the motifs are generally the same size or will block to be about the same size.

Pattern includes suggestions for color placement, instructions for sewing the motifs together, and an edging for finishing.
