The actual sock measures about 3.5” across the foot when flattened out. The shell pattern is very stretchy, so although crocheted socks generally need to be made in dimensions close to the wearer’s foot, negative ease in the foot is okay with this pattern. This yarn is so soft. Everyone who saw me making them had to stop and touch:)

I am left handed, so I don’t know how this will affect the pattern design…..there may be some things that righties might have to reverse?
