Cowls are a magnificent place to showcase a stirring stitch pattern, and here Fay presents a lovely one writ large. The Bliss is an irresistible blend of 80% Extrafine Merino and 20% Superfine Camel: you can imagine how sumptuous it feels next to the skin. The stitch pattern is only four rows high and seven stitches wide, so it’s easy enough to master, and you can work from written or charted instructions, as you prefer. A quick knit that takes only one skein, this is a most welcome and impressive gift.

The cowl was knit from one skein, but knitters may want to purchase more if they want a longer cowl, this uses up the entire ball.
