Pattern Description from Interweave Knits, Fall 2005: “A classic tweed shirt jacket takes on a new look with a fitted silhouette and crisp vertical stripes that end in fringed knots. The stripes are woven in after the jacket is completed, so the knitting, in reverse stockinette stitch, is a breeze. Fronts and back are shaped along the sides with evenly spaced decreases and increases, and the back is further contoured with knitted-in darts.”
