A simple mosaic design that can be varied to create several different looks. This scarf is worked using slipped stitches – an easy technique that creates textured, two-color results while working with only one color at a time. If you can knit a garter stitch scarf, you can knit this scarf. Several variations are provided to change up the design by alternating colors or throwing in some optional purl stitches. While this pattern uses a chart, the chart is very simple, so don’t let that stop you.

Skills: Cast on, knit, slip stitches purlwise, bind off – and purl for some of the options.
