Block Party started its excursion with the idea of using one continuous template to make the best use of an overall space. The plan was to divide the entire body into vertical panels that would be worked in different directions, each with a different stitch pattern. Since each panel is knit separately at its own gauge. I knew I could include lace along with more solid stitch patterns--easy!
