Blockade incorporates stripes, short rows, and a fun eyelet stitch that cumulates in a smashing peek-a-boo eyelet border! It’s a shawl that’s sure to be smuggled into your wardrobe (or out of it!) with its luxurious drape and shape.


Size: Sample as shown measures 18 in/ 46 cm from the top edge to the center point and 100 in/ 254 cm along the top edge. Size will vary due to individual gauge, yarns used, and blocking preferences.

Recommended yarn: 3 colors of DK/Worsted weight yarn in semi-solid/tonal/solid colors. Sample used The Fibre Company Knightsbridge (65% Llama, 25% Merino, 10% Silk; 120 yds / 110 m per skein) in the colorways Poole (Color A), Flintshire (Color B), and Winesteeple (Color C)

Yardage: Color A: 360 yds / 330 m; Color B: 200 yds / 183 m; Color C: 200 yds / 183 m

Needles: One set of 32-40 inch US size 9/5.5 mm circular needles.

Gauge: 4-4.5 sts to the inch in Garter Stitch on US size 9/5.5 mm needles
