This scarf is based on “an exquisite old French lace, unsurpassable for its openness and delicacy.” The pattern itself is not difficult to knit, but requires some attention, as there is patterning on both RS and WS. The crochet pattern takes up the triangles and shell-shape of the pattern and adds additional femininity to the scarf.
