Bloomsbury Crescent is also available as part of the knit/lab Originals volume 1 eBook.

A stylish bohemian asymmetric crescent in vibrant colors inspired by the arts and crafts of the early 20th century; techniques include short rows, stranding and intarsia.

The pattern is presented in two versions with different yarns, needle size and gauge - Kieran Foley at the Fibre Kitchen and Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift.

The Fibre Kitchen version (fourth and fifth photos) is knit on 2.75mm/US2 needles with approximately 220g/880m/960yds of Kieran Foley at The Fibre Kitchen 100% superwash merino 4ply/fingering/sockweight yarn, in the colors pictured below - click here for more information on the yarn. One of each mini skein and one full skein of the MC are required. The large skein is 100g/400m/437yds, mini skeins are 20g/80m/87yds. (There were small amounts of leftovers.)

Dimensions: approximately 147cm/58ins wide by 56cm/22ins deep
Gauge: approximately 22sts and 34 rows = 4ins/10cm in stocking stitch

The Jamieson’s Spindrift version (first three photos) is knit on 3.5mm/US4 needles with approximately 175g/730m/800yds of Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift yarn. Colors include 2 x Nighthawk 1020, 2 x Prussian blue 726, 1 each of Mermaid 688, Mirage 722, Rust 578, Flame 271, Buttermilk 179, Plum 585, Fog 272, & small amounts of left overs of other harmonizing colors for the intarsia flower motifs.

Dimensions: approximately 157cm/62in across by 61cm/24in deep
Gauge: approximately 20 stitches and 28 rows = 10cm/4ins in stocking stitch

The pdf contains both versions and is a combination of charts and written pattern - the stranded and intarsia sections are charted, and the rest of the pattern (short rows, etc.) is in written form.
