Reminiscent of Grandmother’s blue and white china, this country throw will become a family favorite! The hexagon motifs, created with double crochet stitches and accented with front post stitches, work up fast holding double strands of yarn.

Worsted Weight Yarn:
White: 33 ounces (940 grams, 1,925 yards)
Light Blue: 17 ounces (480 grams, 990 yards)
Blue: 11 ounces (310 grams, 640 yards)

Gauge:
One Motif = 10.5 inches (straight edge to straight edge)

Special Stitch:
Front post double treble crochet (FPdtr)

Notes:
Entire afghan is worked holding two strands of yarn together.

Make 27 Motifs

Assemble 3 vertical strips of 5 Motifs each, and
