This scarf can be made for children and adult sizes.
Materials:
Crochet hook Size J (6mm) for scarf, size G (4mm) for eyes, pupils, nose, ears, and eyebrows.
Pompom maker or ready-made pompom 3.5 inches
Needle, scissors, stitch markers, and row counter as needed.
Approximate yarn requirements: Size 4 Medium
Navy Blue (300y/273m/150g), Light Blue including pompom (150y/140m/75g), Gold (75y/70m/40g), Medium Blue (75y/70m/40g), White (50y/46m/25g), Black (50y/46m/25g).

Gauge:
5 squares x 5 squares = 4 inches
Size 7 inches wide x 60 inches long – for shorter lengths (children), reduce the rounds of last color on scarf.
Color changes information:
Color changes are done in the last stitch of the previous row, last yarn over and pull through, dropping the previous color. By attaching the new color in the previous round, the new round starts with the new color.
C2C stitch information: (starts at bottom right corner)
R1: Ch 6, DC in 4th Ch from hook, DC in 2 remaining Ch, first tile comprised of ch-3 turning Ch and 3 DC Sts. Turn.
R2: Ch 6, DC in 4th Ch from hook, DC in 2 remaining Ch, Slst in ch-3 space from the previous row, Ch 3, work 3 DC in ch-3 space of previous row, this completes 2 tiles, turn to make next row. Repeat.
