**MATERIALS**

• 20 oz / 1004 yds worsted weight (medium weight 4) yarn (I used 4 SKEINS LION BRAND YARNS Heartland, Color:
CARLSBAD CAVERNS),

Any worsted weight (medium weight 4) yarn is suitable for this project,

• Size US J 10 (6.00 mm) crochet hook – or hook size needed to obtain gauge;

• Size 7.00 mm crochet hook – or hook one size larger than hook size needed to obtain gauge. This
hook is used for the base chain only;

• Yarn needle.

**STITCH OVERVIEW**

This pattern consists of rows of hdc stitches worked in back loops only, rows of wrapped dc stitches (the wrapped dc’s are explained in detail with numerous photos just in case you are not familiar with them), and rows of dc stitches and chain spaces.
