Short socks are great for tennis and golf or just hanging out. Knit using any fingering weight sock yarn; variegated, solid or patterned all work well with this pattern.
This pattern only has a few rows of cable patterning and it pays off with big impact, taking these socks from basic to wow! The remainder of the sock is stocking stitch and couldn’t be easier. Instructions for grafting the toe follows the pattern. The Blue Mountain pattern easily adapts from using 5 double pointed needles to 2 circular needles.
