This is a two-color, top-down shawl with an attached lace border. This shawl could accommodate a solid, tonal, or gradient yarn, paired with a skein of variegated yarn or a self-striping skein of yarn.

(Published in the April 2016 issue of I Like Knitting.)

SHAPE: Crescent

NOTIONS: 28 stitch markers. Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

PATTERN STYLE: The pattern contains written as well as chart instructions. There is a key and full abbreviation list included as well.

DIFFICULTY: Intermediate

YARN: Sock or fingering-weight yarn, at least 460 yards (421 meters). The shawl was knit using two colorways. The sample was knit using a solid for the MC and a variegated for the CC. This shawl would be just as pretty using two solids in either contrasting or complimenting colors.

SIZE: 56” x 14.5” (Blocked and Unpinned)
