US Needle 10 circular 32 inches long. A needle shorter will make it harder to see what it looks like. A larger needle is too much since you will be working in the round.

One Size Fits All - follow instructions as presented. Circumference is 38 inches. Length is 20 inches. These are finished measurements after washing.

This can be made using traditional yarns - sport weight is recommended.
