Blueberry Tart Socks
Newly revised with additonal sizes. Easier to read.
As an OG sock pattern, it was time to update this cutie. If you’ve knit this before, you know how fast and fun it really is.
Simple. Effortless. Cozy. Knit top/cuff down.
Some projects don’t need fancy stitches – just soft yarn, a soothing rhythm, and a quiet moment at home to unwind. This little sock reminds me why I fell in love with knitting in the first place.
This pattern equips you with detailed written instructions, a stitch glossary, a quick video I often used in the beginning to help with grafting the toe, and a way to spend the evening at home binge-watching your favorite Netflix movie. Gilmore Girls are always a good choice.
Skill level: Beginner Sock Knitter or anyone comfortable with knitting in the round. I do not “teach” you how to knit socks.
Chart: NEVER. All of my patterns are written for ease of reading.
Language: Standard American Knit Terms written in English.
Materials
Yarn: Fingering weight/Sock Yarn; I used my leftover stash. This cutie only weighs 43g. So think mini skeins (wouldn’t this look cute with stripes?), half of your previous yarn leftover from a shortie sock.
Needles: US Size 1/2.25mm. I use DPNs, but feel free to use the needle of your choice. It’s not written specifically for DPSs.
Size
S (7.5”) M (8.5”) L (9.5”)
These sizes are based on approximate circumference of foot, measured at ball of foot. Not shoe size or length. Refer to my chart included in the pattern for length. If the knitting circumference falls between one of these, size up.
