A friend of mine makes beautiful cookies. her company is called Bluebird Confections. She includes a single bluebird cookie on every tray. She has a daughter who had a baby girl after a difficult pregnancy. Her grand baby? Little Sophie. She came early, stayed in the hospital looong. Sophie is a little warrior. She is home, loved and thriving. Maybe a little bluebird followed her all the way from beginning to end with a little song of love and hope. Or maybe it was just all the love that lifted her up… The hat here is worked in Scheepjes Metropolis fingering weight yarn. The yarn is soft with a nice color selection. Changing the color of CC3 - the birds - to yellow, makes canaries or chicks. Brown? little wrens.
