January’s cardigan features the lattice weave of a classic baked pie. It is paired with a recipe for a simpler dish, blueberry jam cobbler. Both the dessert and the sweater are cozy and heartwarming on a cold winter evening.

Bluegold is named after a varietal of blueberry. The simple texture of this cardigan highlights the kettle dyed yarn while the seaming supports the garment and keeps the superwash yarn from sagging. This is a cozy, squishy cardigan worked up in pieces in yarn the shade of blueberry jam.

Errata
The lattice work directions are incorrect on rows 1 & 5 throughout. Rows 1 & 5 should read “K1, purl across, k1” for each garment piece and size. (pages 19, 22, and 24).

Errata has been corrected in PDFs with version number ending in 2018.
