I designed this sweater with “boyish” details but in a fiery pinkish purple. Practical, with pockets; handsome, with a pointed collar and garter stitch details. Truly unisex. Knit one for your son, daughter, or nonbinary child in their favorite color.

Worked from the top down, the yoke is worked flat at first and then joined in the round; sleeves are separated and the body is worked down, with pockets cast on and worked later; sleeves are worked; collar is picked up and knitted last.

This sweater is quite fitted, and hits at the high hip with three-quarter length sleeves. For a more roomy sweater, knit one size up. A schematic showing measurements is on page 4.
