Short-sleeved, boat neck top with hemmed sleeves and bottom, wide ribbing accenting the neckline, and decorative buttons.

Patternfish description:
Super-smart, and fresh for Spring 2009, this cunning little top could have easily been worn by chic women in the 1950’s. It’s amazing what a difference a few little touches make. First, the sleeves and bottom are hemmed, rather than ribbed -- the overall effect on the look is enormous. Second, it’s raglan-sleeved, which suits most folks. Third, the buttons add a subtle fashion note (though there are no actual buttonholes to fuss with-- they’re decorative). Fourth, the neckline is alluring and modest at the same time.
