Boater Hat
Boater Hat with Flower and Bow instructions included. The classic Boater, never seems to go out of style. With a short or long body, looks good on children, men and women.
Pattern includes instructions for sizes Baby up to Men’s XX Large. Also included is the plain Hat Band, Girl’s / Ladies Bow Hat Band, Flower and Leaves.
The pattern is not for the outright beginner. Must be comfortable working in the round. The pattern calls for a simple technique that is most helpful in forming a flat crown and a strong corner edge. There are also lots of photos to guide you.
Baby size can be made with as little as 2 balls of 1.5 oz / 42.5 gr. Adults will take up to 4 to 5 balls depending on the length of the body and the width of the brim chosen. A little of contrasting color for the hat band, flower and leaves.
