It is the perfect time of the year to start a crocheted blanket! Fall is about to start and winter will be here soon too. I started this multi-colored bobble blanket after seeing Katy showing off her bobble stitch on Instagram. I immediately had to know what these kitschy little colorful balls were and how to make them. I am in love! I think they look like little pom poms and seeing my multi-colored blanket grow has brought me so much joy! I got a few requests on Instagram for a pattern so I decided to share my progress and invite you to join me. So come on in and crochet with me!

The basic idea of this blanket is to bobble stitch and single crochet all the way across with a row of single crochets in between. To make your bobble offset rather than stacked on top of each other, add an extra single crochet on both ends of every other bobble stitch row. So you will have one less bobble in every other row.
