Beautiful blossoming branches, made entirely of simple stitches and little bobbles. This lovely hat is worked in the round, bottom up, seamlessly. It looks much more complex than it is! This would be a suitable project for someone just learning how to cable.

Materials:

  • Aran weight yarn, 95 – 110 yards
  • Size 8 (5.00mm) and size 10 (6.00 mm) circular needles or DPNs
  • 3 stitch markers, plus 1 end-of-round stitch marker
  • Cable needle

Stitches & Techniques:
K (knit), P (purl), K2tog (knit 2 sts together as one), P2tog (purl 2 sts together as one), P3tog (purl 3 sts together as one), RT, LT, RPT, LPT – see Chart Legends for instructions how to work each of these simple 2-stitch cable stitches, SB (small bobble) – see Chart Legend for instructions
