This hat is knit using a variation of a trinity stitch. A trinity stitch uses k3tog, however I have found the sssk much easier on the hands when knitting.

This hat is knit on circular needles to avoid the seam. When the stitches get too few to keep on the circular needle, switch to the double pointed needles for your decreases.

Sizes: Adult small, medium, and large using ‘bulky’ weight yarn

Needles: US Size 8 & US Size 7 circular needles for magic loop, or Size 7 & 8 16-inch circular needle and one set of pointed needles.

Gauge: This is stretchy knit, so gauge does not have to be exact

Pattern Notes: This pattern is knit in the round, for a seamless beanie. It accounts for a 1.5 to 2” negative ease, to ensure a proper fit of a hat. Length can be adjusted to preference.
