21 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in Stockinette stitch with larger needles
US 5 - 3.75 mm
US 6 - 4.0 mm
US 7 - 4.5 mm

Medium (42" around and 26" long)

Skill: Intermediate

Fit: Standard

Sizes: S (M, L, 1X)

Finished measurements: 38 (42, 46, 50)” around, when buttoned, and 25 (26, 27, 28)” long

  • Buttons 7 (7, 8, 8) 20 mm / 3/4”
  • Cable needle

This pattern is worked in pieces. The shoulders are joined using a 3-needle bind-off then the remainder of the sweater is seamed together.

From pattern description:
“In my design process I like to have things flow so that everything in a sweater looks complementary. I have always been interested in textures and have a large collection of ribbings. My main focus in this cardigan was the bobble. I had a bobble ribbing and changed one of the cable patterns in the body of the sweater to use the same bobble.”
