This pattern is worked in pieces. The shoulders are joined using a 3-needle bind-off then the remainder of the sweater is seamed together.

From pattern description:
“In my design process I like to have things flow so that everything in a sweater looks complementary. I have always been interested in textures and have a large collection of ribbings. My main focus in this cardigan was the bobble. I had a bobble ribbing and changed one of the cable patterns in the body of the sweater to use the same bobble.”
